Doctorates can be done at universities and equivalent higher education institutions. Their faculties and departments select the doctoral candidates and carry out the doctoral process. Students interested in doing a doctorate should contact the faculties or departments, or directly get in touch with academics and researchers at the institution who are qualified to supervise a doctoral thesis (dissertation).
The university doctoral regulations are analysed on a regular basis so that database users can find the latest information on the doctoral programmes offered by the various faculties and departments. You can carry out your search by various categories: universities, subjects, subject areas, admissions rules, and dissertation rules. The database does not yet include doctoral studies carried out in structured programmes.
